The 2-ply rugby ball is constructed from polycotton and cotton, with a durable rubber surface.

Each size has its own designated colour, to assist all coaches to sort out which balls they should be using quickly. An ideal Gilbert rugby ball for schools and clubs.

Size 5 is in blue, for club use.
Size 4 is in green, for use in schools or Midi rugby.
Size 3 comes in red and is for mini and junior rugby.
